Liberty Park needs a community fridge - Bennett's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $3,650 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,650.
It will serve about 346 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,650 goes:
• Materials: $2,900
• Permits and inspections: $115
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $365
With deep gratitude,
Bennett
