Let's build a youth football pitch together in Utrecht
Volunteers in Utrecht are raising $1,450 for a youth football pitch at the Freedom community hall.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,450.
It will serve about 562 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Permits and inspections: $240
• Materials: $990
