Let's build a youth football pitch together in Ottawa
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $2,300 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,300.
It will serve about 455 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $300
• Tools hire and delivery: $430
• Materials: $1,570
