Let's build a youth football pitch together in Istanbul
A community-led a youth football pitch at Freedom Primary School that will serve 208 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $650.
It will serve about 208 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $650 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Tools hire and delivery: $135

Quick update: $60 raised so far (9%). the plan for materials is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
