Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Narayanganj
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a rainwater harvesting system - we need $150 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $150.
It will serve about 306 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $150 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $10
• Materials: $135
• Tools hire and delivery: $5
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending love. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mim.
Sure. The biggest one is permits and inspections, $10. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Narayanganj
Thinking of you. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Calamba
