We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $450 for materials.

Savar
For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding. We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 198 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $360 • Permits and inspections: $30 • Safety equipment and signage: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $35 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
