Kylie's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Manukau
A first-generation student, Kylie needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Kylie is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at the Manukau Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,750.
The registrar has said Kylie can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kylie has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kylie would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Kylie isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Final term tuition: $2,310
