The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $200. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $55 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $200 goes: • Heating arrears: $80 • Reconnection and late fees: $30 • Down payment on a payment plan: $90 Glad we found this place. - Karina
