Kazimierz wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Kazimierz, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,600 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Kazimierz can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kazimierz desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Kazimierz worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $1,000
• Medication and prescriptions: $210
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $145
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $245
