Kavitha wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Kavitha, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $700 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 76. After a stroke last January Kavitha can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kavitha desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Kavitha worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $700 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $500
• Medication and prescriptions: $95
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $65

is there anything that isn't money that would help Kavitha?
Thank you. If you're in Saket I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Kumasi.
you're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from Lagos.
