Home care fund for Vandana in Swansea
Help Vandana stay in her own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 82. After a fall and hip fracture Vandana can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Vandana desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Vandana worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,800
• Medication and prescriptions: $540
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $220
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $340
Glad we found this place.

Updates from Saanvi
Quick update: $30 raised so far (1%). we've started the first stage. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($20 in total) I made the first payment toward part-time carer. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Wishing you peace, Saanvi. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. All the best.
sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. Blessings.
Sending love. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Coimbatore this morning.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Tema.
