Home care fund for Opas in Pattaya
Opas, 87, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,200 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 87. After a fall and hip fracture Opas can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Opas desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Opas worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $175
• Medication and prescriptions: $180
• Part-time carer (six months): $845
