Home care fund for Francisco in Tehuacán
Francisco, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,950 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 86. After the death of his spouse Francisco can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Francisco desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Francisco worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $1,450
• Medication and prescriptions: $190
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $145
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $165
