Home care fund for Danica in Quezon City
Danica, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $750 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 82. After a diagnosis of dementia Danica can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Danica desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Danica worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $750 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $600
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $30
• Medication and prescriptions: $120
