Athumani, 91, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $200 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 91. After a heart attack Athumani can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Athumani desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Athumani worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $200 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $105
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $35
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60
