I'm caring for my father, who's 74. After a heart attack Hitesh can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Hitesh desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Hitesh worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $800 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $650
• Medication and prescriptions: $55
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $55

It's all in the list in the story. part-time carer (eight months) is the big one at $650, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Fair thing to want to know.
