Help Việt through 8 rounds of treatment for colon cancer
Việt is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Việt was diagnosed with colon cancer in January. The oncology team at Bakersfield Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Việt is 54, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bakersfield Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $10,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,450
• Transport to Bakersfield Cancer Centre: $890
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,880
