Swapnil was diagnosed with kidney cancer in July. The oncology team at Tiruchirappalli University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Swapnil is 43, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tiruchirappalli University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
