Luciana was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in December. The surgeon at São Paulo Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for February. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,300, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,600 short.
