Help Evelyn through 12 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Birmingham University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Evelyn was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Birmingham University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Evelyn is 50, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Birmingham University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $8,750 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,900
• Scans and lab work: $1,050
• Transport to Birmingham University Hospital: $840
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,960
