Enzo was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Brasília University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Enzo is 39, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Brasília University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
