Get Filippo back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Without my food truck Filippo can't work; a $1,450 repair would put him back on the road.
🇮🇹 Campania, Italy1,601 views
I make my living with my food truck. 8 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $230
• rear axle replacement (parts): $960
• Labor charges: $260
Every share and every dollar helps.

what's already covered and what's the $1,450 for?
Sure. The biggest one is road tax and insurance renewal, $230. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
You're not alone. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up
Hope things get better soon, Filippo. Hope this works out for you. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Kasarani.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 37 people at work
