Fighting stomach cancer: help Maverick afford treatment in Los Angeles

Maverick was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Maverick is 38, worked as a farmer until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center: $470
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $690
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,090
