Jayson was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in April. The oncology team at Davao City University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Jayson is 58, worked as a bank teller until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Davao City University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Davao City University Hospital: $90
