Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Davi afford treatment in Londrina
Davi is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇧🇷 Brazil606 views
Davi was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at Londrina University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Davi is 26, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Londrina University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,550 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $720
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,400
• Scans and lab work: $430
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
