Fighting stage 2 breast cancer: help Anjali afford treatment in New Delhi
Anjali is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

In July I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. My oncology team at New Delhi Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 7 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 30, I worked as a primary school teacher until July, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to New Delhi Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $400 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $220
• Scans and lab work: $95
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
Thanks for being kind about this.
