Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Rekha afford treatment in Pokhara

Rekha was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in December. The oncology team at the Pokhara Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Rekha is 25, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Pokhara Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
