Fighting cervical cancer: help Dian afford treatment in Yogyakarta
Supporting Dian through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Yogyakarta Regional Medical Center, and living costs while She can't work.
🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia1,081 views
Dian was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at Yogyakarta Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Dian is 45, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Yogyakarta Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $680
• Scans and lab work: $175
• Transport to Yogyakarta Regional Medical Center: $150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $60
• Household costs while unable to work: $285
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

How is Dian doing now?
Hope it all works out. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Thinking of Yogyakarta.
