Since 2019, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 99 each week. Donations have dropped by about 52% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 13 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Udaipur market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $450 goes: • Baby formula and diapers: $55 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $230 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $165 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Updates from Anushka

  1. Small update. $192 so far, the plan for baby formula and diapers is now scheduled.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 10% funded and I made the first payment toward fresh vegetables and fruit.

Sending good thoughts. More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Udaipur

    • Keep going. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. I'll check back for the next update

      • Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care.
