Feed 245 families each week at Community Pantry in Agra
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Agra.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 245 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Agra market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $180
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $175
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
• Refrigeration and electricity: $5
Every share and every dollar helps.

Keep going, Abhishek. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Wish I lived closer to Jacksonville so I could bring a meal. Love from Ikeja.
