Feed 208 families each week at Community Pantry in Kraków
Help keep a free food pantry open for neighbors in need in Kraków.
Anywhere in the world1,755 views
Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Thursday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 208 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 40% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kraków market and keep every receipt.
Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $105
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $840
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $555
Thank you so much.

Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Mysuru.
Sending love, Henryk. Great idea, hope you get there
Stay strong, Henryk. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Kraków.
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Thủ Đức this morning. Blessings.
