Since 2020, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Monday from the back of a community center. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 204 each week. Donations have dropped by about 54% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Mumbai market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $350 goes: • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $240 • Baby formula and diapers: $65 • Refrigeration and electricity: $45 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. Love from Ciudad de México.

    • Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. After 14 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

      • So sorry you're going through this. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.

        • Take care, Kirit. Hope you get there. God bless
