Feed 160 families each week at the Harvest Pantry in Los Angeles
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Los Angeles.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Thursday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 160 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 56% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Los Angeles market and keep every receipt.
Each $50 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $440
• Refrigeration and electricity: $240
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,320
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
