Feed 156 families each week at Open Hands Pantry in London
Help keep a free food pantry open for neighbors in need in London.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Sunday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 156 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the London market and keep every receipt.
Each $50 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $150
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,800
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,100
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
