Roberto passed away on 20 April; we're raising $1,150 for a respectful funeral in São Paulo.

Roberto, my grandfather, passed away on 20 April after a road accident. He was 92 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 4 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Roberto to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $490
• Transport of the deceased: $100
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $560
