Emergency vet bill for Ollie in São Paulo
Ollie, Alexandre's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $950.

Ollie is my senior cat of six years. On 17 June we rushed to the São Paulo Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $950.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $65 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the São Paulo Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $950 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $520
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $220
• Medication and follow-up visits: $85
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $125
Every share and every dollar helps.

Praying for you, Alexandre. Hope this works out for you. God bless.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Alexandre!
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. emergency surgery is the biggest at $520. It helps to be asked.
So sorry you're going through this. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. Put this on a community board in Lalitpur this morning.
Hope it all works out, Alexandre. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 7 people at work.
Wishing you the best, Alexandre. Poor Ollie, hope they feel better soon. Greetings from Uppsala.
