Elisa wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Elisa can't afford the care She needs after a stroke last May; we're asking for $4,100.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 80. After a stroke last May Elisa can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Elisa desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Elisa worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $4,100 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $260
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $140
• Part-time carer (three months): $3,700
Thanks for being kind about this.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Elisa
It's all in the list in the story. medication and prescriptions is the big one at $260, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I hope August is when things finally get easier
is there anything that isn't money that would help Elisa?
Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Colombo donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
