Don't let Lawrence's family go through the cold months without electricity
Lawrence is behind on electricity bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $700 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $700. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $190 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.

• Water arrears: $400
• Reconnection and late fees: $135
• Down payment on a payment plan: $165
