Divina wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Divina, 78, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $650 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 78. After a stroke last August Divina can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Divina desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Divina worked all of her life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $400
• Medication and prescriptions: $105
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
