Ciara wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Ciara, 93, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,400 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 93. After a fall and hip fracture Ciara can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ciara desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Ciara worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $200
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $330
• Part-time carer (four months): $1,870
