Charmaine wants to stay at home - help fund three months of care
Charmaine, 85, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $650 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 85. After a stroke last April Charmaine can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Charmaine desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Charmaine worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $650 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $85
• Part-time carer (three months): $410
• Medication and prescriptions: $155
