Caroline wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Caroline, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,250 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 76. After worsening Parkinson's disease Caroline can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Caroline desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Caroline worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $5,250 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $4,150
• Medication and prescriptions: $510
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $320
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $270
