Care for Zahra, 82: help cover a carer and medication in Medan
Zahra can't afford the care She needs after the death of her spouse; we're asking for $750.

I'm caring for me, who's 82. After the death of her spouse Zahra can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Zahra desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Zahra worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $750 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $570
• Medication and prescriptions: $40
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $75
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $65
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
Updates from Zahra
Thank you all. We're at 5% now ($35). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts.
Update from Medan: I met with the care agency and confirmed the amounts. We're at 3% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

Rooting for you, Zahra. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best
