I'm caring for my father, who's 94. After a heart attack Victor can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Victor desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Victor worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference. The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices. Where the $300 goes: • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $125 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $95 • Medication and prescriptions: $80 Thank you so much.

        • Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Leeds.
