Care for Vandana, 88: help cover a carer and medication in Coimbatore
Vandana, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $900 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a heart attack Vandana can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Vandana desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Vandana worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. part-time carer (eight months) comes first ($750) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
