I'm caring for my father, who's 95. After worsening Parkinson's disease Tumusiime can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tumusiime desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Tumusiime worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $750 goes: • Part-time carer (four months): $590 • Medication and prescriptions: $90 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $35 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $35 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Rashidi
