Care for Shuvo, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Cox's Bazar
Shuvo, 76, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Shuvo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Shuvo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Shuvo worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $450 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $400
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $10

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. part-time carer (three months) comes first ($400) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
