I'm caring for me, who's 84. After a stroke last January Seul-gi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Seul-gi desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Seul-gi worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,850 goes: • Medication and prescriptions: $250 • Part-time carer (four months): $1,450 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $150 Glad we found this place.
