Care for Saanvi, 88: help cover a carer and medication in Nizamabad
Saanvi, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a heart attack Saanvi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Saanvi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Saanvi worked all of her life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $450 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $310
• Medication and prescriptions: $65
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $25
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $50
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Saanvi.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Nizamabad!
Thank you. If you're in Nizamabad I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Take care. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
How is Saanvi doing now?
Best of luck. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Kinondoni this morning. Love from Kinondoni.
Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
You're not alone, Sunita. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Nice donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Nice.
