Care for Quinn, 80: help cover a carer and medication in San Diego
Quinn, 80, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $5,900 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 80. After a heart attack Quinn can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Quinn desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Quinn worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,900 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $4,900
• Medication and prescriptions: $540
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $460
